About Desires 2 Design

At Desires 2 Design we build a storehouse of vocabulary for each child. The vocabulary is built through stories, games and various activities. The vocabulary bank improves the sentence structures and at the same time improves the communication skills of the child. An improvement in speaking skills helps in better self expression and boosts their confidence. The children thus become creative and expressive.

The Module Works on 3 Cs…. Communication, Creativity and Confidence.
Story telling is the best medium to reach out to the children. Stories will help your child develop his/her creativity and understand the world and how people relate to each other. Many stories are moral based and imbibe good values and ethics. Stories build up the vocabulary of kids thereby improving their communication skills.

If you cannot say what you mean , you will never mean what you say.

Building a large storehouse of vocabulary is important as it enriches us as well as improves our sentence structures and spontaneity in spoken language. A strong vocabulary also enables us to comprehend the text in a better way.

Creative Drama & Voice Modulation

Creative Drama is the simplest way to help children emote and develop expression while speaking. Shared reading and recital sessions help develop clear diction, articulation and voice modulation. Tongue Twisters are also a part of our module as they help children develop clarity in speech.

We take up stories from our Reading Club and help children enact the same with dramatisation and props. At the end of the module, children get an opportunity to perform in front of live audience

Correct Pronunciation

Good pronunciation focusses on three keys which your child will need to grasp well. Understanding these keys is essential for correct pronunciation.

Sounds: Vowels, diphthongs and consonants
Stress: Accent placed on syllables
Intonation: Rising and falling of one’s voice

Apart from this, volume, pitch, pause, pace and other aspects of voice dynamics also come into play in getting pronunciation right.

Special Emphasis on Grammar

Using specially-designed English teaching methodology, curated curriculum and unique approach of hands-on experiential learning will help your child get an early advantage.
